Quotes about deep thinking are a tool we can use to draw inspiration from when we need them. The more we can become inspired, the better our chances of attaining the goal of being the best version of ourselves.
Everyone has down moments, and in those moments we must learn how to view things from a different lens.
We must learn to step outside of ourselves so we can see life from different angles. Through multiple perspectives of a situation we can find deeper understanding, and eventually solutions to our issues.
The greater our ability to detach from the feelings of fear and helplessness , the greater our possibility of living the lives we’ve always dreamed.
Here are some quotes about deep thinking about life that have been impactful to me.
Deep Quotes About Life
“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” ~ Oscar Wilde
This is one of my favorite quotes about deep thinking because most people are just sleepwalking through life.
Dreading the workweek and wishing that it would fly by just to make it to the weekend. Too often the weekend is over and gone before you know it.
Frequently we’re unable to enjoy it in it’s entirety plagued by the Sunday Scaries going into Monday.
This is an unhealthy lifestyle that grounds us in anxiety.
Gradually training ourselves to sleepwalk through 70 percent of our lives.
We should be enjoying and taking advantage of each day we are living. We should feel blessed for each and everyday day and savor each day to the fullest.
Tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone so we shouldn’t take it for granted.
Most people are just merely existing each day. It’s up to us make each day special, maybe even memorable in some small way.
To truly live each day as if it could be our last.
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” ~ Albert Einstein
Regression is the opposite of progression, but often stagnation is just as dangerous.
This is because nothing in life nothing stands still. The earth is constantly turning and the clock is constantly ticking so it is imperativeImperative means of vital importance or very important. More that we keep moving as well.
Whether it’s living an active lifestyle or actively training our minds, we have to stay in motion in order to progress.
We can not allow ourselves to be complacent for too long.
We must continually challenge ourselves so that we stay sharp and continue to broaden our horizons. Only then can we be the best version of ourselves.
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” ~ George Eliot
This quote about deep thinking really resonates deeply with me.
Probably because most goals that I have ever started working on, I felt that I started working on them late.
I have probably invested as much time telling myself that I’m too late as I’ve spent actually working on my goals.
I would constantly discourage myself and tell myself all the reasons it wouldn’t’ work instead of spending that time to excel on my chosen path.
Over time I realized that all of those negative thoughts were a form of self-sabotage and that the best thing to do is just get started.
I told myself that at least if I started on something and I failed, I would get it out of my system. Doing something and failing is much better than never doing.
Never doing can become a psychological nuisance in the form of regret.
The truth is that for most things it’s never too late. Never too late to change bad habits.
Never to late to leave a bad situation. But most importantly, never too late to follow your dreams and live the life you deserve.
“It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop.” ~ Confucius
This quote about deep thinking goes hand in hand with some of the other quotes that I’ve discussed.
It’s not always the speed of your progress but more importantly the fact that that you are continuing to progress.
As long as we are taking small steps towards our goals we will make big progress over time.
Consistency is the key and through many small steps we can travel far distances. T
his goes back to the importance of staying in motion in order to keep moving forward.
Motion creates momentum and forward momentum will keep us moving forward. Lets all commit to taking small steps everyday towards our goals.
“The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
All too often it seems like everything that happens in our lives is negative which bogs us down with stress.
Everyday presents us with a barrage of daily struggles to go through. Every time we seem to get a grasp on something in our lives, a new challenge presents itself.
We have to learn to empower ourselves by changing the way we think.
Instead of looking at our lives as being cursed, we must remember one important thing.
Life is riddled with challenges and and these challenges make life worth living.
Sure, sometimes things happen that are unfair and life altering, but most times challenges help us to sharpen our life skills and help us grow.
We can train our minds to be more resilient, and not get obsessed with small details that don’t go our way.
Alternatively, in those moments of frustration, we should scour our brains to find something we are grateful or fortunate for.
Usually this exercise is a pretty easy one. For the most part as a modern human in the world with internet access, we probably have more access to resources than many others.
What I’m trying to say is that everything is relative, and we probably have many more blessings in our lives than problems.
Filling our lives with joy and happiness is a decision we have to make for ourselves every day. We are in charge of our mood, actions and behavior, and ultimately, our destiny.
