Microwave workouts are a quick way to get in shape before you stuff your face with a meal.
Now I’m not promoting the use of microwaves but the fact remains that they are a convenient and efficient way to re-heat food.
A good way to get some extra reps in throughout the day is to do some exercises while waiting for your food to heat up.
You can do sets of pushups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, jumping jacks – practically any exercise/s you can think of.
Try and do them continuously without rest until the microwave beeps so you can elevate your heartrate and get some HIITHIIT is an acronym for high intensity interval training. This type of exercise focuses on elevating the heart rate and increasing strength through short bursts of anaerobic exercise. More action going.
Challenge yourself to do this mini-training regimen every time you use the microwave.
