As you expose yourself more to the public and become more prominent and successful, unfortunately, it will naturally attract ‘haters’
What are haters?
Haters are usually negative people who dislike or criticize you.
Not all criticism is bad.
Sometimes, constructive criticism, which is honest feedback can help you grow.
Of course everybody is not going to have the same tastes and likes.
To be successful you have to develop thick skin and understand that some people just don’t like what you’re doing.
And that’s ok.
They can find the thing that’s interesting for them and move on.
But sometimes, there are people who want to throw negative energy towards you and try to stop your shine.
There are people out there who are insecure and can’t stand the fact that you’re becoming successful while they’re not doing much with their own lives.
My advice in these situations is to ignore them and not pay them any mind.
It costs you time to pay them your mind.
People who are more successful than you will never hate on you, they will encourage you.
It will always be people doing less than you.
A waste of time
Why should you waste your time worrying about someone who doesn’t care about their own time?
Let me ask this another way.
Why should you waste your time worrying about someone who doesn’t care about investing time in themselves?
What I mean by this is – if someone is willing to invest their time and energy into being negative towards you, that means that they value YOU more than they value themselves.
Usually people invest their time in the things that interest them the most.
Anyone who would prioritize their time and energy to be hateful towards others, must not believe that they are worth investing time and energy into themselves.
Deep, right?
Most times they are jealous and upset that you are following your dreams and they don’t have the courage to follow their own dreams.
Now, armed with this new information you’re invincible.
Be yourself and live your dreams.
